Review: InStyler + Video Tutorial

If there’s one thing I’ve always felt slightly intimidated by in my daily beauty routine, it’s my hair. Sure I may have a healthy amount of it but deciding what to do with them is another story altogether. While everyone else learned to wield their clipless curling wands and perfected their wrist flicks to turn straight hair into luscious curls with a straightening iron, I had little finesse for either.

The concept of the InStyler, a heated rotating styling iron first caught my attention with it’s overly exaggerated infomercials. Yes, you know exactly which ones I’m taking about and while the overly enthusiastic ladies ooooohed and ahhhhed on my television screen, the mechanics of the InStyler did somehow leave an impression on me. When I finally brought it home in December, it was with both a mix of excitement and apprehension.

THE FINER DETAILS
With this multi functional hair gadget in my hands, I really have no more excuses for bad hair days. In fact, if I wash my hair earlier in the evening I don’t even bother to blow dry it at all. Even with air dried, rolled off the pillow hair I can now count on my InStyler to sort things out the morning after and getting ready routine doesn’t need an extra 45 minutes to style my hair.

And you want to know a little confession?
I can’t stop fluffing my own hair in the mirror.
It must be love.
