Held at luxe Trump Hotel in downtown Toronto, my arrival was greeted by a delicious array of sweet confections crafted by Trump’s own in house chocolatiers. Of course, being it was my first time in the city there was also a continued stream of shrieking and hugging as I wandered the room and met some of my favourite Canadian beauty bloggers.
After settling down in the conference room, the main events of the night consisted of various presentations by P&G’s chemists/developers as well as their national makeup artist(s) and hair stylists. Note everyone busily working by snapping away with their cameras and phones, you didn’t want to miss a good photo!
After the formal presentations, I had a chance to browse individual booths from P&G brands including Clairol, Olay, Covergirl and Pantene among many others. We even had the opportunity to chat with the artists themselves which was not only a valuable experience but also inspirational to see that they truly embraced what they love to do.
My night ended much past the hours on the invitation, a few of us stayed behind to eat more cupcakes, snap photos and as one of the last people to leave the event, finally taxied our way home. Along with my bulging luggage, I was kindly gifted two press bags stuffed with P&G products that made it home with me to Vancouver. Look out for more posts with these items to come!
