I’m not sure what’s come over me as of late but I have become a growing hand cream nut. For years I’ve been well stocked with Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy products but with my collection running low and from (too) many frequent trips to Winners, I picked up something new and I’m love it!
Brand: Cath Kidston
Product: Intensive Hand Cream in “Cherry Blossom”
Price: £ 9.00 (via eBay), I paid $5CAD (via Winners)
Availability: eBay, select Winners locations
Would I repurchase: Yes
The packaging says:
“This specially formulated cream with shea butter, cocoa butter, glycerin and sweet almond oil, will intensively moisturize and protect your hands. Fragranced with a bouquet of green fruity floral with cherry blossom, honeysuckle and amber wood.”
Well you don’t say…fragrance indeed, this hand cream is heavily scented with the sweet aroma of honeysuckle and cherry blossom and at first seemed quite potent but does disperse to a tolerable level after a few minutes though I do wish that they’d ease up on the fragrance a little.
I find it fabulous for smoothing over chapped skin (though not enough for battered cuticles) and I especially love the eco friendly formula with no parabens, no sulphates and no colourants. Perhaps not the most purse friendly option but I’ve really been enjoying this as part of my nightly pre-bed routine.
