Beauty News | Etude wants you to be SWEET! | Spring Collection

Beautysets - Etude House Spring 2013 - Sweet Recipe

Always one of the most anticipated collections for each season, Korean brand Etude House never fails to add a cute twist to their products. This spring they’ve released Sweet Recipe, a collection of lipsticks, blushers and shadows based on pastries and other candies. I’ve shown here the Sweet Cupcake All Over Colour, a set of 5 multi-use cream colours that can be added on eyes, cheeks or lips. The Sweet Recipe Chocolate Eyes palette is a chocolate looking trio of cocoa shades to give you darling brown smokey eyes. They’ve even baked up a yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie (powder) Pact that is a finishing powder with dots of pearl pigments inside. Lastly I also want to let you know that Etude has revamped their Sun-prise sunscreen range, this time in collaboration with Disney featuring a selection of primers, sun milk, sunblock and even a baby version as well.

THE ADVERT | Etude House Sweet Recipe 2013

Thus far, KPopTown appears to be only place that has the most complete new selection stocked and is available for international shipping.

What do you think about “cute” makeup products?
Or do you prefer a more sophisticated look?

I've ordered the Almond Chip Cookie Pact and the Sweet Cupcake All Over Colour in Peach Sugar Cake, I can't wait for them to get here! I might end up collecting most of this line over time, the packaging is just so cute! Exactly my aesthetic. ❤

Aaaaaah! Would love it if you shared a photo when you get them. They must be adorable in real life. I'm not sure if it's something I'd pull out in public but they are perfect for a makeup lovers collection!

I think it has to do with the brand overall rather than the packaging when it comes to these Asian cosmetics. For example Etude is a more affordable line, they have a large selection of products but they can be a hit or miss (but I've definitely had more hits personally) regardless of how they choose to package there, you're still getting Etude quality products. They concept seems to be a bit different than Western brand here, in which the “cute” aspect usually means “toy/kiddie” makeup. Not always so in Korea and Japan, they definitely bring out the FUN aspect in beauty.
